Harvest Carnival
Despite the cold and rainy weather it was a fun evening. They had a talent show with 10 different student acts of either singing or dancing. Several of the performers are quite talented. Khin volunteered to be the sound man for the talent show and hauled all of his equipment for the event. In addition there was a haunted house, games, and lots of food vendors. I tried a Mexican corn on the cob called elotes, where they put mayonnaise and parmesan cheese. It was really tasty. We were supposed to wear Western Wear, but I think it was too cold to notice any clothes under the layers of jackets we were all wearing.
